Personalized Support

Being a parent is a 24/7 job! If you haven't done it before, there is so much to learn and navigate - life might be a little more busy than you think! And if you've had a baby before, you know how tender you feel in those early days and weeks. Having someone support you and your family, easing your practical load and being there alongside you as you make the emotional transition can be the difference between feeling exhausted + overwhelmed, and confident + loved.

You want to spend as much time as possible being with your baby, learning to breastfeed (a skill that can take a while to learn), resting and recovering, eating nutritious food, nourishing yourself, napping... You deserve this slow time, and trying to maintain a house as well as caring for your newborn (plus any older children!) does not pair well with good recovery.

These packages gift you my expertise, both as a midwife and postpartum professional and powerful space-holder, as well as my practical skills around your home. You can pick my brains, learn, plan, gather your village and receive care and support from me as you navigate those early days and weeks. Plus me tending to house jobs such as washing, spruce cleaning and supporting with older children lightens your load. It will ease your transition and have you feeling informed and held rather than shocked and bewildered.

Should you choose this gift for your family, you will have me by your side planning with you beforehand and riding the waves with you when baby is here. I am an experienced companion, wisdom holder, and grounding presence. I will affirm and celebrate with you in your moments of strength, and encourage and hold you in times of doubt.

Alyssa provided wonderful encouragement in early postpartum days (and in the weeks and months following) and was always willing to listen to my concerns and provide support. She really made me feel like I was doing well with breastfeeding etc which is such good encouragement in a time when everything feels so new and overwhelming
